Position Overview
Our litigation practice is growing so we require another law clerk supporting our work.
The ideal candidate will have broad experience across multiple areas of litigation with a focus in commercial and construction litigation.
Key Responsibilities
- The clerk will support multiple lawyers on commercial and construction litigation. This is an additional position and not a replacement as our practice has simply grown too busy for the existing clerk team to accommodate. As such, this is a great opportunity to move into a well-functioning pre-existing team.
- Foster and maintain strong, collaborative relationships across the firm.
Qualifications & Skills
- 5 years as a litigation law clerk with experience handling commercial and/or construction matters.
- Ability to support a wide range of files.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary.
- The ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively is very important.
- Bilingualism is an asset.
- Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- A strong collaborative player that works and plays well in the highly connected Tierney Stauffer team culture.
