Position Overview

We are looking to grow our solicitor practice and are looking for multiple individuals to join a thriving practice.

For this role, we are seeking an Associate lawyer with 2 to 5 years of experience in estate and incapacity planning (wills, POA’s) and estate administration. • Work closely with a multi-dimensional team across estate planning, drafting, estate administration, and providing advice to our estate litigation lawyers.
  • Demonstrate an interest and willingness to expand the Tierney Stauffer thought leadership and brand across this practice area.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario (LSO) as a licensed Lawyer.
  • At least two years of experience in wills and estates under Canadian law.

  • Strong organization and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • A strong collaborative player that works and plays well in the highly connected Tierney Stauffer team culture.
  • High English fluency. Bilingualism is a very strong asset. The ability to speak multiple languages is not required but would also be a valued asset.
