Lesly joined Tierney Stauffer LLP in 2007 as an articling student, where she gained experience in all areas of legal practice. Upon her call the Bar in June 2008, Lesly joined the firm as an Associate in the Family Law and Civil Litigation Practice Groups. Currently Lesly practices in the areas of personal injury and insurance litigation focusing on claims in the areas of motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls/trip and falls, medical malpractice, disability claims and contract litigation.
Lesly has experience handling matters before the Ontario Court of Appeal, Superior Court of Justice, the Human Rights Tribunal and CPP Review Tribunal.
Lesly is a member of the Ottawa Mission’s Board of Directors as well as a volunteer with Law Help Ontario which operates a Pro Bono Legal Clinic in Ottawa. Lesly volunteers her time to REACH Canada’s Lawyer Referral Program and the Ottawa Lawyers Feed the Hungry Program. She spoke at the County of Carleton’s Litigation Conference in 2011.
