Jasmine Workun-Hill first joined Tierney Stauffer LLP as a summer student in 2021 and subsequently returned as an articling student in 2022. During her time as a student, Jasmine gained considerable exposure to all areas of Civil Litigation. After being called to the Ontario Bar in 2023, Jasmine returned to the Firm as an Associate in the Civil Litigation Department.
During her articling term, Jasmine gained experience in various areas of civil litigation, including frequent appearances in the Ontario Small Claims Court, the Landlord Tenant Board, the Social Benefits Tribunal, and the Superior Court of Justice.
Jasmine completed her Civil Law Degree (LL.B.) and her Common Law Degree (J.D.) at the University of Montreal. Before venturing into law, Jasmine studied Sciences at Cégep Heritage College. Having been raised in an English-speaking family while having completed most of her education in French, Jasmine works confidently in both official languages.
Jasmine is currently building her practice in civil litigation, with a particular focus on personal injury, insurance, employment, and commercial litigation. Jasmine works in our Ottawa office but also travels to our other locations as needed to meet with clients and attend to various matters.
Outside of law, Jasmine enjoys spending time outdoors and playing numerous sports, including soccer and tennis. After her articling term, Jasmine traveled for 3.5 months, exploring Eastern Europe. Having now settled down in the Ottawa area, she is ready to assist her clients with a compassionate and guiding hand while strongly advocating on their behalf.
