Jasmine Workun-Hill first joined Tierney Stauffer LLP as a summer student in 2021 and subsequently returned as an articling student in 2022. During her time as a student, Jasmine gained considerable exposure to all areas of Civil Litigation. After being called to the Ontario Bar in 2023, Jasmine returned to the Firm as an Associate Lawyer.
Jasmine completed her Civil Law Degree (LL.B.) and her Common Law Degree (J.D.) at the University of Montreal. Before venturing into law, Jasmine studied Sciences at Cégep Heritage College. Having been raised in an English-speaking family while having completed most of her education in French, Jasmine works confidently in both official languages.
Jasmine practices in the areas of Civil Litigation, Employment Law, and Personal Injury Law. She has frequent appearances in the Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Small Claims Court, the Social Benefits Tribunal, and the Landlord Tenant Board. Jasmine also has also successfully advocated at the Divisional Court level.
Outside of law, Jasmine enjoys spending time outdoors and playing numerous sports, including soccer and tennis. Jasmine loves traveling and heading out on adventures whenever she can. Having now settled down in the Ottawa area, she is ready to assist her clients with a compassionate and guiding hand while strongly advocating on their behalf.
