Emily Tierney, Associate

I grew up in Barrhaven and completed my undergraduate degree at Carleton University in Ottawa. I then had the amazing opportunity to attend law school in Ireland.

Since my call to the Ontario Bar in 2014, I have been practicing in the Corporate, Commercial and Residential Real Estate Departments at Tierney Stauffer LLP. Our law firm has a fantastic atmosphere with a wealth of knowledge from a variety of lawyers to assist clients in many aspects, and I am proud to be on the TS team.

I love being part of the legal profession, specifically in helping individuals and business owners achieve their goals by providing them advice and guidance. I enjoy watching the trends in the Ontario real estate market and have a special delight in assisting first-time home buyers.

Having grown up in Ottawa, I know the city well and enjoy connecting clients with individuals, businesses or services that can assist them.

As my roots are in Ottawa, I am proud to serve on the Board of Directors of Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Support Program, which provides assistance to patients and families affected by childhood cancer.  When I am not providing legal advice, my spouse and I enjoy teaching our two young daughters new things and spending time with family and friends.
