I joined the Tierney Stauffer LLP team in 2011 as a Licensed Paralegal and Insurance Claims Consultant.  Working closely with the litigation team to resolve insurance issues has and continues to be a great experience.

I also enjoy conducting informative workshops to our Health Care Providers to help them understand the coverages available to victims injured in motor vehicle accidents and also to Insurance Professionals on issues that they should be aware of with respect to their professional liability for failing to provide the proper coverage.

At Tierney Stauffer LLP, there is great comradery and discussion on issues is encouraged.  I enjoy the discussions we have with respect to how we can best serve our clients and the sharing of ideas going forward on a claim.

That does not mean it’s all work and no play at Tierney Stauffer LLP.  Everyone has a great sense of humour which I understand is a requirement to work here, and our partners organize get-togethers that encourage teamwork, while at the same time having lots of fun and laughs.

Outside of Tierney Stauffer LLP, I sit as Chairperson on the Board of Directors for Vista Centre, an organization providing residential, supported independent living programs and day programs for survivors of brain injury.  I have been associated with this organization for many years taking on different roles throughout the years. I am an avid skier in the winter and a boater in the summer.  When not doing either of these activities, I like nothing better than sitting down and devouring a good book.  As an avid reader, I enjoy all types of literature and I am presently almost finished A Promised Land by Barack Obama.
