Amanda joined Tierney Stauffer LLP at the end of 2022, stepping into the Wills and Estates practice in the Ottawa office.
Born and raised in the Ottawa Valley, Amanda ventured to St. Catherine’s to complete her undergraduate degree, majoring in Philosophy and Women’s studies. She returned home briefly to complete her Masters at Carleton, before following that momentum to Fredericton where she attended UNB completing her JD in 2016. She returned to the Ottawa area for her articles, while working part time at a Board Game Store.
Called to the Bar in 2019, Amanda jumped into solo practice, offering mobile appointments to clients all over Eastern Ontario, transitioning well into the new virtual legal environment during the height of the pandemic. Since joining the Firm she continues to offer services in Wills, Estates and Residential Real Estate to clients in the heart of the Ottawa-Carleton region.
Amanda is personable and approachable, and continues to offer flexible legal services to clients, bringing the skills learned in small town general practice to bear in providing start-to-finish client care.
