Practice Summary:
Susan joined the firm in 2001 as an Articling Student. In 2002 she returned as an Associate, and in 2007 Susan became a Partner. Susan specializes in commercial and civil litigation, including personal injury law, medical malpractice, insurance law, employment law, and contract law.
As an active member of the County of Carleton Law Association, Susan spent a number of years as a member of the New Lawyers and Articling Students Continuing Legal Education Committee where she co-chaired and spoke at numerous CLE programs. Susan has also been a guest speaker at the Annual Solicitors Conference at Chateau Montebello.
Susan sits on the Fundraising Committee of the Brain Injury Association of the Ottawa-Valley for the annual charity dinner. She is also a past Committee Member of the Fundraising Charity Golf Tournament Committee for St. Patrick’s Home Foundation. During her tenure as a Committee Member, the Fundraising Committee raised in excess of $500,000.00 for the Home.
Susan is also an avid supporter of the Ontario Paraplegic Association and has helped to establish a Pro-Bono Clinic for their members.
